I am so pumped to see the show this week. I have been following you for the last few years and I admire what you do. In a sense it allows me to live the life I’ve dreamed of through you. Keep up the good work.

Aw! I just missed you on the TODAY show, but I’m glad you posted it! Its too bad you won’t be working with Mark anymore, but I look forward to watching your new show, it looks amazing! And I’m Ethiopian, so the fact that you travel there…is even more exciting!

Neo-Nazis in Pittsburg?!?…that’s special. Well if you would like to visit some place a little more friendly, with below zero temperatures, more cattle than people, and absolutely no adventure….you have a standing invitation to South Dakota ; )

Good luck with everything! Can’t wait for the new show!

We saw you live here in Florida this morning. What a nice surprise. We watch Today every day! Great to see you again….even if on live TV.

Well I have to admit that I was a little jealous of you because you got to meet meredith!! I know it’s wierd that I would want to meet her, but it’s kind of like wanting to sit down with Hitler and ask him “why were you so crazy”!! I wasn’t able to watch it at the time it aired because I have school that starts at 7:00 in the morning( the joys of being in highschool ) but other than that I thought it was a good interview and I will be waiting all afternoon on wednesday, just as i am doing now waiting for Anthony Bourdain: no reservations on the travel channel!! Really can’t wait. I hope you safe travel, and if your in the US, a really warm jacket, I live in Miami and it’s 36 degrees!!

    Hi Olly,

Welcome to NY great to have you. Last week there was an article in AM NY about your new show. It was funny because one of my co workers was telling me to watch this show after he read the article (he did not know that I have been a fan of yours) and he knew that I do not watch a lot of TV so he thought I would like this show.
There are some great restaurants in NY and maybe you will be able to get some goat testicles (joking). I hope you get a chance to see this beautiful city just bundle up as you know it is cold.
If you can, let us know when we will be able to see your interviews, you looked great this morning, now you can add treasure hunter to your resume.
Enjoy your stay in NY, maybe I will bump into you.
You must be getting excited, only one more day left and your new show to start. It is great to see good things happening to good people.
Keep safe in your travels we want you to be around for a long time.

Wishing you health, happiness, love & wealth.

I too would like to welcome you New York, Olly. Lively interview with Meredith! You evidently expressed your excitement for your new show and your passion for journalism and adventure. I know it’s too late to ask but hope you’ll post your listing of interviews, so that we could catch them on TV or radio perhaps. Pretty sure you have a tight schedule, but hope you’ll find time to relax and enjoy the city. Good luck with the rest of your interviews. I’m sure you’ll ace them all.

Thanks for putting this video on your blog. I hate that I missed it, but I’m so glad I got to see it on here. You did an excellent job! So much enthusiasm for what you do even with all the downsides to it. Sorry to hear that you have guns pulled on you and things like that. I’m glad nobody was hurt.

Carrying the 60lbs, made it more real, more work (lol), but more real. I can’t wait to see the show!

  8. Tan Says:

    Hi, Olly
Just saw the interviewed and you did a great job, definitely steal the show ;) Sorry, to hear about you got some gun pulled on you at Pittsburg, but when did Indiana Jones never had gun pulled on him in the movies? ( I guess everywhere, that now I thought about it) I hope you find times to enjoy and relax in the US. One more question, the jacket that you wear on the interview is that the same one on the “Ark of the Covenant”, that jacket been everywhere :) Take care and Welcome, please find time to enjoy and relax while you are here, Tan.
