Hello, Olly
Do public vote count, or you need to be FGRS member only? Anyways I will tell my friend to go on the web site and vote just in case the public vote do count. Thank you for the info. Take care, Tan.

Hi Olly,
Hope all is well. I wanted to wish you luck on the Beagle Campaign. I know that the vote will be in your favor and the campaign will win by a landslide.
If anybody can change the paradigm of the RGS it is going to be you guys. All of our postive energy and well wishes are with you.
Olly, I read an article stating that the RGS gives grants to other organizations to conduct explorations and etc. Why would they not want to give that money to their own members to conduct the same explorations? I know it may cost a bit more but maybe more people would like to join the RGS.
Wishing you health, happiness, love and wealth.

Hello Olly.
I wholly support the Beagle Campaign and, as a fellow of the RGS, I have voted in favour of the Resolution.

Hi Olly,
It’s awesome that the Beagle Campaign is getting a lot of publicity. I’ve read the articles including Justin Marrozi’s open letter to the president of RGS and seen Sir Gordon Conway’s video on the RGS website – battle of words between David and Goliath. Hope the campaign gets all the necessary votes to win. RGS must realize the importance of supporting multidisciplinary exploration and field research – to benefit our planet, us all, and generations to come. I wish you and the other Fellows behind the campaign best of luck on Monday! Please do let us know of the outcome.
Hope you’re having a great weekend,
Lissa

So sorry to hear about the loss the other day, Olly. Don’t give up. As I’m sure you realize, changing the status quo often takes several (or many!) attempts, but I have no doubt that you all will be successful as you persevere to make this happen. Congrats though, on the impressive number of votes in favor of the Campaign! That alone speaks volumes… It’ll happen.

Hi Olly,
The rebals with a cause will prevail and the war will be won one battle does not matter.
Revolution is evolution and some people need more time to evolve. The academic geographers will evolve over time.
I wish I was a fly on the wall to hear the debate, it must have been great. There are very few people who fight for this planet so please keep on fighting.
If there is anything we can do please let us know. I would love to do something but dont know what I can do.
Wishing you health, happiness, love and wealth
Reena
