On the Coal Face: Asian TV Awards 31Jan09

On the Coal Face – the film we made for Al Jazeera People & Power as part of the China Series, won critical acclaim at the Asian TV Awards. We were nominated in the Best Current Affairs Programme of the Year Award and won a high commendation – being pipped to the post by an incredible film “Inside Myanmar – The Crackdown”. The names of the majority of the people who made the Coal film can never be publicly acknowledged – but you know who you are… thank you and well done.
